Odin Shipping Limited was founded in 1977 by
S.E. Hansson and C.M. Svane of our Parent Company
Svane Shipping A/S, Kolding, Denmark (formerly known as Svane & Gjørding A/S).

We are based in Sunderland, England and provide a comprehensive Agency and Chartering service, shipping cargoes to and from of Europe.

We have built up a long-standing relationship with the ports we work alongside, allowing extra control over cargoes.

We have developed an active Chartering Department, matching related cargoes to suitable available vessels.

The Ships Agency Department is cost conscious and strives to ensure efficient and swift port turnarounds. We have a live link to CHIEF, offering customs clearance to importers and exporters alike.

Odin Shipping offer a web based Inventory Management System for our customers working within the Port of Sunderland.
